Hi, I am
- A wife, mum, pastor & doctoral researcher
- A leader with over 35 years experience in church and secular leadership
- Passionate about whole life discipleship
- An expert in bivocational church leadership
This blog is a resource for those interested in the doctoral research study that involves Kingdom Culture Church, the church my husband and I pastor in the North East of England. The project is called ‘Appreciating Theology’ and together we will explore the important area of faith and our work.
I will be sharing the reasons for the study, my personal stories of navigating secular and church leadership, the theory behind this practical theology research study and the learning we uncover about this important part of our whole-life discipleship journey.
Some questions to stimulate our thinking:
How many hours of your week is spent in church compared to doing your work (paid, voluntary or unpaid)?
What is the purpose of your work within the plan God has for you, this world and His Kingdom?
What do you think is more important – your work or what you do on a Sunday in church?
I would love to hear from you if you have any thoughts, questions or stories to tell about your own whole-life discipleship journey. Contact me
